Scott Eliason

Scott Eliason, BA Ecology UCSD, MS Botany San Diego State University. Scott has lived in Bear Valley since 1999 when he came to work on the San Bernardino National Forest as Mountaintop District Botanist. Scott’s wife Robin, a wildlife biologist, also works on the SBNF. Scott and Robin have two children, both attending school in the Bear Valley Unified School District. Scott grew up in Pasadena, California, and is a classical cellist. Before working for the Forest Service, Scott worked as a botanist for the US Fish and Wildlife Service, the Soil Ecology and Restoration Group, and the University of California Natural Reserve System.
