Lorraine Taylor
Lorraine Taylor is a new member of Big Bear Valley Education Trust Board. A native Californian, growing up in Lake Elsinore, attending college in Riverside, then moving to Long Beach, where her and her husband raised their two children. Lorraine spent 30 years in the Group Travel industry, having the opportunity to travel the world while escorting her various groups. During this time Lorraine and her husband also had the opportunity to live full time in their RV, traveling around, experiencing the different cultures of our own country. After her husband’s passing, while still working in the Travel Industry, Lorraine decided to pursue her long time dream of creating a Retreat Center. A place where like minded people could come together and share their talents and thoughts. This is what brought her to Big Bear Valley, finally finding the perfect property after searching all over Southern California for two years. Inspirations at Big Bear Lake is her retirement job and her dream. Opening 14 years ago to welcome all types of groups – Quilters, Crafters and Spiritual. As she was thinking of her goals for the coming year, she made her list. At the top, was to be more involved with an organization that supported our local children, then she received the call to join the Bear Valley Ed Trust Board. Lorraine is very excited to be part of this organization, supporting the educational opportunities for our children.
